Michael is a Principal Software Engineer at Genesys with a focus on OpenTelemetry. Before Genesys, Michael worked in AWS service teams for 7 years, at Red Hat in the OpenShift team, at Mesosphere (now D2iQ) on DC/OS, and as Chief Data Engineer at MapR (now part of HPE). Prior to that he worked 10+ years in applied research in symbolic AI, serving as a Research Fellow in large-scale data integration in his last position at DERI (now: Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics).
